As a -You're Going to College!!!- present, I finished this up for InVerdigris (working myself to the bone all night, I might add, so I hope you are pleasantly surprised!).
I did use that photo of
"Ross" from Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever at a few glances for Toad (just to get him a bit more Ray looking) and actually a picture of
Jaime Pressly for Tabitha (or at least her backside, heh). There's something about her that always reminds me of Meltdown, at least in her younger years.
This is an AU concept obviously, since y'know...the third movie and Maggie's not dead and etc, but yeah the idea was post the first movie. Meltdown joins up at some point. Action and adventure ensues. Things go all to pot when Mags kicks it on some mission or other and they've just found each other again here at his graveyard.
Originally I had Tabby in a black dress and looking y'know mournful, but then I figured in Magneto's absence she'd be hiding and scrounging and would just show up in what she had on with her hair all a mess.
I like to think he's not sure if he wants to pull her closer or thrust her away.
His face didn't turn out just how I wanted, it actually looked better in the pencil version I did before I scanned it, but ah well.
